“Stop the blame game,” Social Welfare Secretary Rolando Bautista made the appeal following complaints of delays in the distribution of the government’s social amelioration.

In a virtual press briefing aired on state-run PTV-4 early Thursday, Bautista promised to hasten the release cash aid for poor families who are most affected by the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.

“Ang aking advice sa ating lahat, this is not the time for blame game. Dapat the more we should help one another in any form we get,” according to the secretary.

Bautista said they will distribute the financial assistance systematically and orderly “in due time.”

“Walang perfect na sistema. But as we continue to engage, we were able to identify and determine the gaps and shortcomings,” he added.
