Bawal lumabas sa Malacañang! PSG imposes lockdown on its personnel for 14 days
By Prince Golez
Presidential Security Group (PSG) commander Colonel Jesus Durante III has placed PSG personnel on lockdown from March 28 to April 10.
He issued the directive on Friday, two days after ACT-CIS Representative Eric Yap, who attended a meeting in Malacañang last March 21, announced that he tested positive for coronavirus.
In a message sent to Palace Spokesman Salvador Panelo, Durante said he required all PSG personnel to go on self-quarantine starting tomorrow.
“No PSG personnel to go out of Malacañang complex until 10 April,” the PSG chief also said.
Durante, however, clarified that the Office of the President will maintain a skeletal workforce among its personnel, who will be allowed to go to their respective offices within the Malacañang Complex “subject to regular screening procedures.”
“The lockdown only applies to PSG personnel,” he added.
