Getting health care just became a little less difficult with this latest initiative of a politiko.
Senator Risa Hontiveros is sending mobile clinics to communities to provide free health assistance to people.
The first Healthy Pinas mobile clinic was deployed to a town in Pampanga on April 25, 2021. The senator described the project as “Bayanihan on wheels.”
Turu, Magalang, Pampanga,” she said in a Facebook post.
What’s the reason behind the mobile clinic? Hontiveros explained that people face health concerns other than coronavirus disease. Her latest project aims to provide health assistance to patients in need of medical attention.
She said the Health Pinas van seeks to extend assistance in monitoring common diseases of Filipinos. And the best thing about the mobile clinic is the services will be given free to the people.
Muli, dakal a salamat sa aking mga kababayang Kapampangan!” she said.
She said all patients, including healthcare workers at the clinic, took the rapid antigen tests. Health protocols were strictly enforced, she added.
