Take a bow U2.

Several politikos were among the thousands of adoring fans of U2 who watched the band’s one-night-only concert held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

Among those spotted watching the concert were Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri, Joel Villanueva, Sherwin Gatchalian, Richard Gordon, former Senator JV Ejercito, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. The politikos brought their partners for a date at the U2 concert.

“A night to remember with my Seatmates and my ‘the’ one and ‘the’ only Thank you U2! #TheJoshuaTreeTour2019 #U2Manila#PHarena #VPositive,” Villanueva wrote on Instagram, sharing photos during the concert.

Audrey Zubiri, wife of Senator Migz, also enjoyed the U2 concert, saying it was an unforgettable night.

“It took @u2 forty years to get to the Philippines but they were certainly worth the wait as they guaranteed the crowd “our best Philippine concert ever!” and definitely delivered!!! They performed their best hits, as fresh as they sounded upon release decades ago or just recently,” she said in an Instagram post.

“But just as importantly, it was a night of inspiration with Bono making a conversation with 50k people feel like an personal and intimate one on one, thanks to the purity of his messages. There was something about him when he would talk- he spoke gently yet there was a dynamic energy to him that was so inspiring. Thank you @u2 for giving us a night we will never forget!” she said.
