Immigration Commission Jaime Morente has decided to implement an “odd-even” scheme to limit the number of accredited liaison officers transacting with the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
In an advisory issued on Wednesday (Nov. 4), the BI told liaison officers that “effective Thursday, 05 November 2020, the Bureau of Immigration shall strictly implement the off-even number coding scheme based on the last digit of your accreditation ID number…”
“Further, only one liaison officer per accredited entity shall be allowed entry to the BI main office during the corresponding schedule,” the BI said.
Under the scheme, those with ID numbers ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 will be allowed to transact on odd calendar days.
While, those with ID numbers ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 can transact at the BI on even calendar days.
