Bida bida para sa camera! Netizens call out Jeff Canoy for wearing face mask wrongly
ABS-CBN reporter Jeff Canoy decided to intensify the action while reporting about Taal Volcano’s eruption by wearing a face mask— even while he was reporting on air.
Canoy wore a face mask while he reported live for TV Patrol Monday (January 13). His covered up look was in stark contrast to fellow Kapamilya anchor and reporter Jorge Cariño’s more relaxed attire of polo shirt and cargo pants— even though they were both in Batangas.
As part of his report, Canoy filmed himself describing the thickness of volcanic ash that had fallen in Lemery, Batangas. However, not a few netizens noticed he was wearing the N95 face mask the wrong way.
Canoy only secured the top straps of the mask but left the bottom straps hanging, leaving his mouth exposed to dust.
“Please wear your mask properly! Wearing it the wrong way is pointless,” said Twitter user @JustGanymede.
“omg wear your mask properly,” said netizen @queenjohnn.
“He’s not even wearing it properly,” said Twitter user @itsYosel08.
“hi po ayusin nyo po wear ng mask nyo for maximum protection,” said netizen @arbc2013.
“ingat sir, and wear your mask properly po,” said Twitter user@TheRillMe.
