Bilib! Bato demolishes Otso Diretso bets in debate, Lacson says

Senator Panfilo Lacson has nothing but praises for his former subordinate, administration senatorial bet Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa following his performance during senatorial debate sponsored by CNN Philippines last Saturday.
In his Twitter post, Lacson said after watching the televised debate, he believed that dela Rosa, former Director General of the Philippine National Police (PNP) has “singlehandedly” annihilated opposition candidates from Otso Diretso despite being ganged up on several matters during the discussions.
Lacson stressed that Dela Rosa’s performance last Saturday proved he remains one of the strong contenders in this year’s midterm elections. Lacson preciously worked with Dela Rosa at the now defunct Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF).
“Watching Ronald “Bato” de la Rosa single handedly and gamely taking on Otso Diretso (minus 2) candidates on a number of issues makes me stop wondering why he consistently ranks high in the senatorial surveys,” said Lacson.
In the televised debate, Dela Rosa was cool enough to handle heated discussion despite being surrounded by opposition bets especially on matters regarding the Duterte administration’s war on drugs and pivot to China policy.
From the water crisis to the drug war to the China debt trap, Dela Rosa took the microphone to parry criticisms against Duterte’s policies.
