Bilib kay Tulfo! ACT-CIS tops party-lists assured of a seat in 18th Congress
A party-list endorsed by broadcaster Erwin Tulfo topped the list of groups that will likely win in the party-list race, based on the results of Pulse Asia’s latest and last voter preference survey ahead of the May 13 polls.
With a support base of at least 10.6 percent, Pulse Asia said the Anti-Crime And Terrorism through Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) party-list will have three seats in the 18th Congress, which is the maximum number of seats for party-lists allowed by the Supreme Court.
Two other party-list groups have a statistical chance of winning three seats: Ako Bicol and Bayan Muna.
In recent weeks, ACT-CIS has been bombarding television viewers with ads featuring broadcaster Erwin Tulfo.
The party-list has his wife, Jocelyn, as second nominee. The first nominee is Eric Go Yap while the third nominee is former broadcaster Nina Taduran.
Meanwhile, six other party-lists are assured of at least one seat in Congress based on survey results. They are: CIBAC, 1PACMAN, Senior Citizens, Ang Probinsyano, An Waray and Magsasaka.
Pulse Asia conducted the survey between May 3 to 6 nationwide by having face to face interviews with 1,800 likely voters aged 18 years old and up.
