The arraignment of former Vice President Jejomar Binay Sr. and his son, former Makati City mayor Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay Jr., concerning the the overpriced P2.2 billion car park building has again been postponed.
The Sandiganbayan 3rd Division decided to cancel their scheduled arraignment on Friday (January 12) since it has not yet resolved their pending motion which sought the dismissal of the charges against them.
The elder Binay was previously scheduled to have been arraigned back in November, while, his son had been also previously set to have been arraigned back in September.
The former vice president has been charged with nine counts of falsification of public documents, four counts of graft and one count of malversation.
While, his son has been accused of two counts of graft, six counts of falsification, two counts of graft and one count of malversation.
