Bong Revilla marks 4th year in prison: Minsan gusto ko na sumuko

Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. is still yearning for justice after languishing in prison in the past four years in connection with the pork barrel scam.

Revilla, in a Facebook post, admitted that he wanted to give up after spending years in detention but kept his faith in the Lord that his suffering will come to an end.

“Today is exactly my 4th year in prison. This is 4 years away from my family; missing out on the milestones of my children’s lives; 4 long years that I can no longer get back,” he said in a post dated June 20.

He said he was still praying for truth and justice as he faces plunder charges for alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.

Let us all continue to pray together! God is good!” he said.
