Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. stressed he is not among those ordered by the Sandiganbayan 1st Division to return P124.5 million to the government.

“Nagsalita na ang korte na wala akong kasalanan,” he said.

“He has no obligation to pay,” added his lawyer Carlos Villaluz.

Last Dec. 7, the ant-graft court issued a decision which acquitted Revilla of plunder concerning his involvement in the pork barrel scam.

On the other hand, the court found guilty of plunder his co-accused, pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles and his former aide Richard Cambe.

Under the case, Revilla is accused of having amassed P224 million in kickbacks from Napoles, in exchange for choosing her non-government organizations (NGO) to implement ghost projects funded by his pork barrel.

In its ruling, the court sentenced Napoles and Cambe to reclusion perpetua.

The court also ordered the return of P124 million to the National Treasury.
