Bongbong misses his dad, seeks his advice
Amid talks of his possible vice presidential run, Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. turned sentimental and wished for an advice from his father, the late President Marcos.
On his Instagram page, Marcos marked the death anniversary of his father last September 28 with a black and white photo of his young self with the late president. The photo shows the late strongman apparently whispering an advice to the soon-to-be senator.
“I miss him very much. I could have used his fatherly advice at this time,” Marcos said on his Instagram page.
“But rather than mourn, I will celebrate him. He may be gone but his legacy remains in all of us,” he added.
Marcos, ousted from power via the EDSA people power revolution in 1986, died on exile in Hawaii on Sept. 28, 1989.
