Justice has been served! Judge Soriano denied the arrest warrant motion of the DOJ against Sen. Trillanes.
This is Judge Soriano’s darkest hour and he prevailed against all odds.
Mabuhay ka Judge Soriano.

A Judge with common sense and mastery of the law is how I would describe Judge Soriano. Obviously, if one did not apply for an amnesty, there is no amnesty to speak of and the President can right say your amnesty is void an initio.

Judge Soriano must’ve been under terrible pressure to render a decision to favor the DOJ. Instead, he did a Solomonic act, upholding the govt’s claim but freeing @TrillanesSonny from the danger of arrest. The latter is enough for me, for now. Thank you, Judge Soriano! https://t.co/fufXzTzI8a

I salute the courage of Judge Andres Soriano, who by refusing to order Trillanes’ arrest resisted the clear attempt of the government to trample upon common sense and basic legal principles.
For as long as there are judges like him, there is hope in our justice system.

Okay, so Judge Andres Soriano denied the arrest warrant but also upheld the “validity” of Proclamation No. 572, the amnesty being void ab initio.
Props to Judge Soriano for denying the arrest. Stay safe, Judge!
Now, let's wait for the legal eagles to shed light on the rest.

Mabuhay ka, Judge Soriano. You will be remembered by a nation craving for justice, at this time in our history when democracy is under grave threat and where justice has been perverted to persecute those critical of this administration.@leahnavarro https://t.co/GAkYtt0jvg
