Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa is praying for the speedy recovery of the police officials injured in a helicopter crash in Laguna Thursday morning.
Dela Rosa took time off his work schedule and visited Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Archie Gamboa at the hospital. Gamboa is among those hurt in the helicopter crash.
Dela Rosa asked the public to pray for his “mistahs” or schoolmates from the Philippine Military Academy who were among those aboard the chopper.
“Please pray for the fast recovery of my mistahs: gen gamboa, gen ramos, gen magaway; pnp pio gen banac and the rest of the passengers and flight crew of the pnp helicopter that crashed at san pedro, laguna this morning,” he wrote on Facebook.
The helicopter carrying Philippine National Police chief Archie Gamboa crashed outside Manila, injuring him and other cops on board. The chopper’s propeller reportedly hit a high tension wire shortly after take off from a police compound in Laguna, causing the crash.
Gamboa and those aboard survived the helicopter crash but suffered minor injuries.
