BuCor reports 61 inmates recovered from COVID-19
A total of 61 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) have recovered from the 2019 coronavirus (COVID-19) following their stay at the quarantine facility “Site Harry” at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City, the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said.

A total of 61 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) have recovered from the 2019 coronavirus (COVID-19) following their stay at the quarantine facility “Site Harry” at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City, the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said.

“Animnapu’t-isa (61) na PDL ang tuluyang gumaling sa COVID-19 pagkatapos ng kanilang pansamantalang pamamalagi sa Site Harry Isolation Area sa New Bilibid Prison, Muntinlupa City sa loob ng halos dalawang linggo upang magamot at gumaling sa naturang sakit na CoVid-19,” the BuCor said in a statement.

“Sila ay nagnegatibo sa PCR (polymerase chain reaction) Test na naging daan para sila ay payagang makabalik na sa kanilang mga kampo at dormitoryo,” it added.

Among the 61, the BuCor noted one was returned to the medium security camp, five at Building 14, 13 at the Reception and Diagnostics Center, and 42 at the maximum security camp.

“Ang buong pamunuan Bureau of Corrections ay patuloy na makikibahagi sa laban na ito at gagawin ang nararapat na hakbang upang malagpasan ang pagsubok na dala ng Covid19 pandemya,” the BuCor assured.
