Bumaba ang bilib! Duterte’s net satisfaction rating drops to ‘good’

The public’s net satisfaction with President Rodrigo Duterte continues to go down, with the latest Social Weather Stations showing his rating at a “good” +45.

SWS survey results for the second quarter of the year showed Duterte’s satisfaction rating falling 11 points from a “very good” +56 in March.

SWS conducted the survey nationwide from June 27 to 30.

The SWS uses the following terminology to describe net satisfaction ratings: +70 and above, “excellent”; +50 to +69, “very good”; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”, +9 to -9, “neutral”; -10 to -29, “poor”; -30 to -49, “bad”; -50 to -69, “very bad”; -70 and below, “execrable”.

According to SWS, the 11-point decline in Duterte’s net satisfaction rating was due to declines of 20 points in Metro Manila, 18 points in the Visayas, 6 points in Balance Luzon, and 6 points in Mindanao.

Net satisfaction with Duterte also went down by one grade from “very good” to “good” in Class D or the masses, but rose by one grade from good to very good in class E, and stayed very good in class ABC at +66.
