Buti nga! Poe thanks Duterte for ordering new raps vs Aquino’s execs over MRT woes

Senator Grace Poe is grateful that President Rodrigo Duterte had ordered to pursue new cases against officials under former President Noynoy Aquino over the deteriorating state of the MRT.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said Duterte ordered Solicitor General Jose Calida to prepare new cases against former officials of the Department of Transportation and Communications over the sorry state of the MRT, which only recorded one week of continuous operations since the beginning of the year.
Former members of Aquino’s cabinet, including former Transportation Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya, former Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas and former Budget Secretary Butch Abad, are already facing plunder raps with the Office of the Ombudsman.
Last month, Poe, who chairs the Senate public services committee, urged the Ombudsman to act on the complaint filed by the Department of Transportation on November 2017 against Aquino’s former Cabinet officials.
In the interview, Poe said she hopes the case which could be filed against former officials would materialize.
