Buti pa noon! 8 in 10 Pinoys say life got worse over last 12 months
Eight out of 10 Filipinos believe their lives got worse over the last 12 months, according to the latest survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).
Results of the mobile phone survey conducted from July 3 to 6 showed 79 percent of the respondents saying the quality of their lives got worse. Only eight percent said it got better while 12 percent said the quality of their lives were unchanged.
SWS said the percentage of Filipinos who said their lives got worse– termed as “losers– is the highest it has recorded, next only to the 83 percent in May 2020.
The percentage of “gainers” or those who said their lives got better is the lowest recorded by the pollster.
SWS conducted the survey using mobile phone and computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) of 1,555 Filipino respondents aged 18 years and older.
The survey had error margins of ±2% for national percentages, ±6% for Metro Manila, ±5 for Balance Luzon, ±5% for the Visayas, and ±5% for Mindanao.
