Cabinet member deserves offensive line ‘OK boomer,’ Agot Isidro says
Actress Agot Isidro is among the horde of netizens annoyed at the profanity used by a Cabinet member on social media.
In a post on Twitter, the actress told Cabinet official “OK, boomer,” saying he deserved such derogatory line over his behavior.
“Normally, I wouldn’t use ‘OK, boomer’ because I find it a bit offensive and incites ageism. But this cabinet official deserves it. So I say… Ok boomer,” she tweeted.
Isidro did not identify the Cabinet member but was obviously alluding to Locsin who is under fire for using profanity against a journalist who was just doing her job.
Locsin hurled invectives at a journalist over her tweet about President Duterte skipping the closing session of a regional summit in Thailand last Monday. The DFA chief took Duterte’s place at the
ceremony since the President preferred to catch early flight home.
Locsin said he would apologize only after the journalist has said sorry for allegedly committing slander.
And FYI, technically, I belong to Generation X. 😉— Agot Isidro (@agot_isidro) November 8, 2019
