Continuing his tirades against Senator Leila De Lima, Solicitor General Jose Calida dared the lady politiko to show her grades on criminal law in the bar examinations.
“If her grade is higher than mine then I will resign as solicitor general,” said Calida.
“But if my grade is higher than hers she should resign as senator of the Philippines,” he stressed.
Calida scored 100 percent in criminal law in the 1973 bar examinations.
De Lima, on the other hand, ranked sixth overall in the 1985 bar examinations.
Calida, who had been Justice Undersecretary, is a staunch supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Like the President, he has also vowed to protect the police force amid accusations of extra-judicial killings in the conduct of the administration’s all-out war against illegal drugs.
