Cayetano’s ex-aide named Presidential Adviser for Flagship Programs

President Rodrigo Duterte recently appointed Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) President and CEO Vivencio “Vince” Dizon as his newest adviser in his cabinet.

In a document obtained by Politiko dated August 27, 2019, Dizon was named concurrent Presidential Adviser for Flagship Programs and Projects, on top of his present duties and functions as head of BCDA.

Dizon was appointed as President and CEO of BCDA back in December 2016.

Dizon is a known confidante of House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano.

Dizon previously served as the chief political officer of the incumbent Taguig-Pateros congressman during the latter’s 12-year stint in the Senate.
