Class of 2019: 201 cadets to graduate from PNPA
SILANG, Cavite — Two hundred and one cadets and cadettes, belonging to Sansiklab Class of 2019 will graduate from the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) on Friday, March 22.
Their graduation from the academy becomes official after the holding of PNPA’s 40th commencement exercises at the parade grounds of Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, it was announced on Thursday.
The Commencement Exercise, themed, “Bagong Henerayong Tagapagtanggol: Adhikain ay Kapayapaan ng Bayan tungo sa Isang Maunlad na Pamayanan”, signals the end of cadetship of Sansiklab Class 2019 members and the beginning of their careers as officers of either the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) or Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The guest of honor at the event is PNP chief, General Oscar Albayalde, who will award the “Presidential Kampilan Award” to the Top 1 graduating cadet as well as diplomas to all graduates.
The 154 cadets (male) and 47 cadettes (females) are expected to take their places as brand new Police Lieutenants, Jail Inspectors or Fire Inspectors in their chosen services. (Dennis Abrina/PNA)
