Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa is back into shape after a suffering a bout of coronavirus illness last year.
The former police chief tested his strength and endurance when he recent went on a bike ride to Tagaytay.
On his mountain bike, he conquered the steep roads and pedaled his way to the People’s Park in The Sky, a popular tourist attraction. He shared his latest biking adventure in a Facebook post.
“After I beat covid 19, I thought I could never beat this highest peak in Tagaytay, the People’s Park in the Sky again but today I did it again,” he wrote on Facebook on Feb. 5.
The senator is grateful for his second chance in life after beating the coronavirus. “Thank you Lord for the life and the renewed strength. God is good all the time,” he said.
Last November, Dela Rosa announced he tested positive for COVID-19. Three weeks later, he recovered from the illness and tested negative for the virus.
