Colonel pala! Duterte clarifies remark on 2 generals ‘still playing with illegal drugs’

President Rodrigo Duterte clarified Sunday that there are no generals involved in illegals drugs trading.

During his arrival at the Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao City after his five-day official visit in Russia, Duterte said he was confused about the current ranking classifications of the police.

“Alam mo I must admit my ignorance actually. Superintendent pala ‘yan eh. Eh sa Bisaya ‘yang sup-sup is sucking — ice drops,” according to him.

“Wala, walang generals. I’m sure of that. Parang — colonel I think.

On Thursday, Duterte revealed that two generals are “still playing” with illegal drugs.
