Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said the resolution of the sedition case against Vice President Leni Robredo and her co-respondents concerning their involvement in the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video series could be out this November.
“Maybe in a week or two the resolution will come out,” he said.
Whatever the results maybe, Guevarra said the outcome can’t be considered final yet.
“In any event, whatever resolution will come out will not be final because that’s subject to further appeals,” he explained.
In its complaint, the PNP-CIDG accused Robredo and her co-respondents of of sedition, inciting to sedition, cyber libel, libel, estafa, harboring a criminal, and obstruction of justice.
The case is in connection with the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos which has accused Duterte family members as being involved the narcotics trade.
Peter Joemel Advincula, who revealed himself to be the hooded Bikoy in the videos, claimed that members of the opposition were behind the videos meant to discredit and destabilize the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
