DAP, PDAF reason for low ratings- Drilon, Angara

The scandal on the so-called P10-billion pork barrel scam and the controversy stirred over the use of government savings under the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) were being pointed as the “culprit” behind the huge drop in the net satisfaction ratings from among the members of the Makati Business Club (MBC). “Yung pork barrel scam at yung DAP controversy, nakapagpababa ng tingin ng taumbayan sa Senado,” Senate President Franklin Drilon said yesterday. “Palagay ko nakaapekto dito yung PDAF scam pero tingin ko naman babalik din yun over time. In the next few years, lalong lalo na kung pinasa natin itong lowering of taxes di ba?” Angara said. “Wala tayong magagawa eh. Yun talaga ang impression nila,” he added. The Daily Tribune
