‘Di kinaya ang hirap? SC: More examinees drop out of Bar 2019 ahead of 3rd week
More bar examinees have dropped out from taking this year’s examinations, the Supreme Court revealed.
SC Deputy Clerk of Court and Bar Confidant Ma. Cristina Layusa disclosed that there were 7,691 bar examinees who went on the second Sunday of the exams last November 10.
The subjects of the exams on November 10 were civil law and taxation.
Because of this, Layusa indicated that there are now a total of examinees who failed to finish the exams which is scheduled for four consecutive Sundays this November at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila.
On the first Sunday of the exams held on November 3, there were 7,699 examinees who took the exams with the subjects on political and public international law and labor and social legislation.
There were a total of 8,245 law graduates who registered to take this year’s bar exams.
The 2018 bar examinations were also held in November last year and there were 8,155 who took the exams out of the 8,701 who registered.
There were 1,800 who passed the 2018 bar exams.
