‘Di pa lusot! Revilla posts P480K bail for pending graft cases

Despite his plunder acquittal, former Sen. Ramong “Bong” Revilla isn’t totally clear yet as he still faces multiple graft charges at the Sandiganbayan.
Revilla on Friday posted a bail bond amounting to P480,000 for his pending graft cases right after his promulgation at the special five-man division which acquitted him for plunder.
The former Senator still faces 16 counts of violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act for at the Sandiganbayan First Division for allegedly earning more than P224-million worth of kickbacks after channeling his Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) allocations to the bogus non-government organizations staged by businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles, the person behind the Pork Barrel scam.
Napoles and Revilla’s former chief-of-staff, Richard Cambe were convicted during Friday’s promulgation and was sentence to suffer the penalty of 40-years imprisonment.
