‘Di pa pala tapos! Acosta to file new Dengvaxia raps vs. Duque, Garin

Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) Persida Acosta intends to file this Monday (Nov. 16) five more complaints against Iloilo 1st District Representative Janette Garin and Health Secretary Francisco Duque III for their liability in the deaths of those who received the Dengvaxia anti-dengue vaccine.
“Limang new cases, mga bata rin,” said the PAO chief.
Persida said she will be filing the five new complaints before the Department of Justice (DOJ) on behalf of the families of five dead children.
She noted that the new cases will be part of the fifth batch of Dengvaxia cases which have been filed before the DOJ.
The first batch were already filed in court, while, the second and third batches have no resolution yet.
At the moment, the DOJ is conducting a preliminary investigation of the fourth batch of complaints which is expected to end by December 13.
