‘Di pwedeng laway lang! DOJ asks Bikoy to back up claims vs. LP
Even after flipping sides in favor of the administration, Peter Joemel Advincula alias Bikoy should substantiate his latest claims against the opposition who are allegedly involved in schemes to topple President Rodrigo Duterte, said Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete.
“Considering the gravity of Mr. Advincula’s allegations then and now, any and all questions regarding the veracity and the truthfulness of those allegations are best threshed out and addressed in a thorough investigation conducted by experts, following a rigorous legal process towards the ascertainment of the truth,” he said in a statement.
Advincula revealed last May 6 that he is Bikoy in the viral videos “Ang Totoong Narcolist” which accused members of the Duterte family and senator-elect Christopher “Bong” Go as being involved in the nacotics trade.
However, Advincula surrendered to the Philippine National Police (PNP) and claimed he was only told by members of the opposition to make up the lies against the Duterte family and Go.
“Itong kay Bikoy, para madiscredit si Senator-elect Bong Go, na wala naman talaga. Walang katotohanan lahat iyon,” Advincula told reporters at the PNP.
“Pawang orchestrated lang ng Liberal Party under the handling of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV,” he claimed.
