Di sapat ang SONA: Duterte to hold press conference at Batasan after 1.5-hour speech
Monday (July 24) is definitely shaping up to be a busy day for the media as President Rodrigo Duterte is set to give his State of the Nation Address (SONA) at 4 p.m.
But it’s not only the SONA that reporters will be covering this afternoon, but also the press conference that will be happening afterwards.
Duterte is set to face the media at Batasang Pambansa after giving his speech, according to his schedule released by Malacañang.
This is the first time in recent history that a President will give a press conference following the SONA.
It seems that Duterte isn’t content delivering the SONA– which the Palace said will be at least 50 minutes long– to say what’s on his mind.
