Did Drilon just refer to Binay as ‘bulok?’

Senate President Franklin Drilon said Friday that Vice President Jejomar Binay’s free fall in performance and trust ratings only prove that the public is rejecting the “bulok” or rotten style of governance.

In the same way, Drilon said that the high ratings of President Benigno Aquino III–unheard of during this stage in an administration’s lifespan–show that the people want more of “Tuwid na Daan”.

Drilon sits as vice chairman of the ruling Liberal Party (LP) and is a reelectionist next year.
Meanwhile, Binay, the opposition standard-bearer, has been hounded with multiple allegations of corruption for over a year now, although these mostly have to do during his tenure as Makati City mayor.
