You can’t bash Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson and expect to get away with it from eagle-eyed Duterte Diehard Supporters (DDS) who can see your true colors.

This is what happened to Philippine Information Agency (PIA) director-general Harold Clavite who came out of social media obscurity by asking Uson to apologize for the “Pepedederalismo” video and giving her unsolicited advice to take some time to “reconfigure” her strategies.

DDS members made sure Clavite suffered for his 15 minutes of fame by making sure the public knows his real alliances: a stooge of Senator Bam Aquino and a die hard campaigner of former Senator Mar Roxas who lost to his current boss in he 2016 elections.

DDS members also noted that Clavite betrayed his true feelings on federalism when he attacked Uson for her crass but effective (according to Teddyboy Locsin) promotion of federalism.

DDS dug up a post by PIA Regional watch over a year ago citing the words of a former Supreme Court Justice Vicente Mendoza who opposed the Duterte administration’s drive for charter change.

On Tuesday, DDS acolyte and former broadcaster Jay Sonza posted on Facebook: “Harold use to work for Bam. nagtataka ka pa ba sa iginawi niya? BTW Bata raw siya ni Martin.”

Two days later, Clavite admitted his ties to Aquino (executive assistant at the National Youth Commission in 2003) and another “dilawan”, Senator Kiko Pangilinan (political officer in 2006 and re-election campaign staff in 2007), in response to the DDS bashers.

“I remain friends with my former bosses and colleagues and, like a normal person would, continue to respect each of them notwithstanding differing current views on national matters. From 2003 and 2006 to 2016 and now, we end up standing on opposing political fences without any threat to cajole nor attempt to influence each other’s position in any way,” said the exposed Clavite.

PIA chief urges Mocha to take a leave over ‘pepedederalismo’ scandal: Nakakahiya ang katangahan mo!
