‘Displeased’ Duterte seeks probe into SEA Games blunders: Pati si Alan Cayetano papaimbestigahan!

President Rodrigo Duterte wants an investigation on the mishaps being experienced in the country’s hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
“There were allegations of fraud that appeared in newspapers and he does not like that. He wants to investigate that. He does not tolerate corruption,” Panelo told reporters.
The Philippine SEA Games Committee (PHISGOC), organizers of the 30th SEA Games, is in very hot water over the inconvenience suffered by athletes regarding their transportation, hotel accommodation, and food options.
Panelo said Duterte was “displeased” over the reported mishandling of SEA Games.
The investigation would cover House Speaker and PHISGOC head Alan Peter Cayetano, an ally of the President, and the controversial P50-million cauldron tower, according to him.
Duterte previously defended the price of the cauldron, saying it was “the product of the mind.”
He added, “You cannot estimate how much nalugi ka because it is the rendition of the mind of the creator. Kung yan ang singil niya, eh di sabihin niya, ‘Huwag mong bilhin kung ayaw mo. Yan ang presyo ko’. That’s like a painting.”
