Distansya amigo: Gatchalian hanging out with friends under new normal
Friends reunited, and it feels so good.
As lockdown measures have been relaxed, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian recently went to hang out with friends again.
Gatchalian shared a photo having drinks with his buddies while following the safe distancing rule at the restaurant. The lawmakers from Valenzuela said it was the first time he went out with friends since the strict lockdown implemented in March.
“Chilling under the new normal; first time to hangout with friends outside since the March lockdown.
In another Instagram post, Gatchalian marked another first when he held a meeting at Starbucks since the quarantine was declared three months ago. They were seated far apart in compliance with the distancing rule in restaurants.
“First meal and meeting at a restaurant ever since the lockdown last March. Difficult to conduct a meeting with the empty chairs between us,” he said.
A large part of the country is either under general community quarantine (GCQ) or modified community quarantine (MGCQ) as the government sought to reboot the economy weakened by the coronavirus pandemic.
