Disturbing! AFP-China telco deal exposes government to espionage – Pangilinan
Senator Francis Pangilinan has raised concern about the planned installation of telecommunication facilities by a Chinese firm inside the military camps in the country.
Pangilinan said such arrangement was a “serious national security concern” since it exposes the government to Chinese espionage.
Countries such as Australia, the United States, Japan and New Zealand have banned Chinese telecom giant Huawei due to security concerns,” he said in a Facebook post.
