DOJ puts up P500K bounty vs fugitive Peter Lim
Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Friday (September 14) has offered a P500,000 reward to anyone who would be able to help located suspected drug boss Peter Lim.
Guevarra made the offer as Lim continues to elude authorities who are hunting him down.
“The DOJ (Department of Justice) warns persons coddling Peter Go Lim, who has been indicted for conspiracy to trade in illegal drugs, that they will be prosecuted for obstruction of justice and punished accordingly,” he warned.
“The government is also ready to give a reward of P500,000 to anyone who can give information on the exact whereabouts of accused Peter Go Lim, provided that such information will lead to the actual arrest of said fugitive,” he said.
The Makati regional trial court (RTC) has already issued an arrest warrant and hold departure order (HDO) against Lim after the DOJfiled last August 10 two charges of conspiracy to commit illegal drug trade against him and his co-accused
The others named as his co-accused are self-confessed drug lord Rolan “Kerwin” Espinosa who is in the custody of government authorities; arrested drug trader Marcelo Adorco; and Ruel Malindangan.
The RTC also issued an arrest warrant Malindangan who remains at large.
