Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said on Wednesday (Oct. 28) said a secretariat has been established to receive reports of corruption that task force led by the Department of Justice (DOJ) can act on.
“Nag-organize na kaagad kami ng isang secretariat para dito sa purpose na ito kasi alam namin na dadagsain kami ng mga sumbong ng mga reklamo,” he said in a radio interview on DZBB.
The secretariat was established after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered Guevarra to have the task force which investigated anomalies at the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) to investigate all government corruption.
Guevarra has already urged the public not to hesitate to report any kind of corruption to the task force.
“Kaya itong aming secretariat ang magiging function niya ay tanggapin lahat ng mga ganitong klaseng reklamo,” he said.
“Ii-sort out nila, i-evalute nila, at ipa-prioritize kung alin ang karapata-dapat na bigyan ng immediate priority attention ng task force,” he added.
