President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration obtained an “excellent” net satisfaction rating, according to the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
Its net satisfaction rating soared to +73 from +67 (very good) in September 2019, the poll conducted from December 13 to 16, 2019 among 1,200 respondents also showed.
In the latest survey, 81 percent of FIlipinos said they were satisfied with the performance of the administration.
Seven percent were dissatisfied and 12 percent undecided.
SWS said the government was rated “very good” in terms of helping the poor, fighting terrorism, reconciling with Muslim rebels, and developing a healthy economy.
It was good in fighting crimes, reconciling with communist rebels, foreign relations, defending the country’s sovereign rights in the West Philippine Sea, eradicating graft and corruption, and acting according to what the people want.
The respondents rated “moderate” on ensuring that no family will ever be hungry, recovering the “hidden health” stolen by the Marcos family, and fighting inflation.
