Duterte complains about ASEAN Secretariat’s handling of his sked for summit: Anong tingin niyo sa amin, boy scout?
President Rodrigo Duterte has called out the secretariat of the 2018 ASEAN Summit for scheduling meetings too close to one another.
In a speech in Malacañang Wednesday (December 5), Duterte complained anew about the grueling schedule he had during the summit held in Singapore last month.
“Itong mga g— secretariat na ito and Bong, I hope that we can improve on it. Mag-umpisa kami ng 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, break, 1:30, 2:30 hanggang alas diyes, alas-onse ng hap— gabi. Anak ka ng, sabi ko, anong tingin ninyo sa amin, boy scout?” he said during the awarding ceremonies of the 2017 Presidential Award for Child-Friendly Municipalities and Cities.
Duterte joked again about using marijuana during the summit because he was sleepy. He, however, clarified that it never happened.
“Kung hindi kayo g—, I was presiding over the plenary mag-hithit ako ng marijuana. Pagka ganoon, when it is too ridiculous, it must be a joke,” he said.
