Duterte: Criminals have human rights? That’s bullsh*t!

President Rodrigo Duterte believes human rights do not apply to criminals considering the suffering they inflict on their victims.

Speaking before Filipino-American tourists during the 11th Ambassadors’ Tour Philippine reception in Davao City Friday (July 14), Duterte slammed human rights advocates anew for pushing him to think about the welfare of criminals.

He said it was “not fair” for criminals to cite human rights so they can enjoy certain freedoms when they destroy other people’s lives.

“You have the right — human right to go around wherever you want, you’re a citizen of this Republic, you can travel, you have all the Constitutional right,” Duterte said.

“Kaya ‘yang sa pasahero, wala naman tayong pera, anak natin magsakay ng jeep, sasaksakin, holdapin, kung anong pagawa. Pag-uwi, magsakay ng tricycle, a few kilometers away, pinatay na. And you just see these human rights idiots all around the world, ‘Ah, you know, human rights.’ That’s b*** s*** to me,” he added.

Duterte said he has repeatedly warned criminals they will be killed if they “destroy the country” by committing crimes against the youth.
