Tomorrow, President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to decide on what lockdown measures will be implemented after May 15, his spokesman said.
In a “Laging Handa” virtual press briefing, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said that the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases will submit a recommendation to Duterte on the matter Monday afternoon.
Last April 23, Duterte extended the ECQ in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and other high-risk provinces until May 15 to stem the spread of coronavirus disease in the country.
All other provinces not covered by ECQ were placed under the more relaxed general community quarantine.
