President Rodrigo Duterte has criticized some media practitioners allegedly paid to attack politicians.
“They accept clients to attack. ACDC. You attack to get paid. So don’t believe that they are clean, those sons of b******.,” Duterte said in a speech delivered in Bukidnon.
The Chief Executive claimed that these journalists protect the interests of the rich and attack those who genuinely want reform.
“These rich people, these sons of b**** are milking us dry. And they are the ones who finance agencies like Rappler,” he added.
In the same vein, Duterte appealed to Filipino voters to select candidates who would work hard for the people and the nation.
“If you are going to choose, choose leaders who are responsible and will be of great help,” the President also said.
