Duterte ‘inclined’ to extend Luzon lockdown till April 30

President Rodrigo Duterte said he is inclined to extend the enhanced community quarantine on the entire island of Luzon until April 30.

“If you really want to know, we have discussed it even before this, we are inclined to extend the lockdown up to April 30,” said Duterte in a televised news briefing late Monday.

The Luzon lockdown over the coronavirus disease outbreak raised March 16 is set to expire midnight of April 13.

“Tingnan natin after that. In the meantime, magdo-double time kami doon sa tinatawag ninyong middle class. How is it defined or arrived at correctly, we will talk about this,” he added.
