President Rodrigo Duterte asked vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. and Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque to hold a public briefing on the government’s coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccination program “twice a week.”

This will ensure public awareness of the country’s vaccination strategy, Duterte said in his weekly speech to the nation late Monday.

“We are in the process of really working towards the realization of our vaccine program,” according to the Chief Executive.

“You can only have about a good knowledge or at least an understanding of our COVID program once you hear us, me, ngayon sa gabi, but it does not come to you every day.

“So, I have requested Secretary Galvez and si Secretary Roque, sila ang magdala sa public information and it should be given twice a week para you’ll be better informed of what the government is doing,” he said.
