President Rodrigo Duterte has offered a P1-million reward to anyone who can capture or kill those behind the killing of four policemen in Ayungon, Negros Oriental.
Another P50,000 reward will be given for the capture of all conspirators involved in the crime, said Duterte’s spokesman Salvador Panelo in a statement on Sunday.
Panelo said Duterte convened a command conference with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police last July 20 to discuss developments relative to the incident.
The Chief Executive also visited the wake of the police personnel who were ambushed and killed by suspected suspected communist rebels.
“The Office of the President expresses its condolences to all the loved ones of the slain policemen even as we condemn in the strongest terms their treacherous slaying,” said Panelo.
“We will ensure that justice will be served to those behind this condemnable offense against our peace enforcers. The full force of the law will come crushing down on the perpetrators,” he added.
