Duterte on NAIA woes: I am still trying to sort out the problem

President Rodrigo Duterte is still sorting out the problems plaguing the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Duterte made this remark following the 121st anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence in Lanao del Sur Wednesday evening.
Asked whether he plans to revamp and reorganize NAIA, the President told reporters: “Wala. I am still trying to sort out the problem.”
Duterte conducted on Monday a surprise inspection of the NAIA Terminal 2 after hearing reports about flight delays and cancellations.
To solve airport congestion, the Chief Executive approved the transfer of general aviation or domestic flights to Sangley Point. He also expressed preference for the airport security to be handled by the military or civilians.
