President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday chastised property developer Consunji for commenting in matters related to the water concession agreement.
In his speech delivered in Cotabato province, Duterte told Consunji to instead focus on the construction quality of their projects.
The Consunji family owns the DMCI-owned condominium that partially collapsed after the magnitude 6.6 earthquake hit Davao City in October last year.
Talagang bumubuka,” the President said.
“Ngayon pinapahirapan niya. I will not grant you any permit to dig in,” he added.
DMCI Holdings reportedly owns a 25.24 percent stake in Maynilad, one of the two private water providers that recently got the ire of Duterte.
