Duterte swears ‘Oust Duterte’ matrix is true, but wants Panelo to take all the heat: Baka baliktarin ako ng media!
President Rodrigo Duterte is adamant that a matrix showing media firms led by Vera Files were plotting to oust him from power is the real deal.
“Totoo ‘yung matrix. Pati ‘yung Bikoy kita mo naman, pati ‘yung spectral analysis ng boses nila. Totoo talaga ‘yon. Si (Vera Files president Ellen) Tordesillas talagang totoong ano. She’s an every inch a prostitute,” said Duterte in a briefing in Davao City.
Duterte is referring to a matrix linking Vera Files, Rappler, Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism and the National Union of People’s Lawyer (NUPL) to the release of a “Totoong Narcolist” video of an anonymous whistleblower “Bikoy who turned out to be an ex-convict, con man Peter Joemel Advincula.
“Bahala na kayong mag-interpret. But those lines are really not lines connections. There were a lot of communications there that were recorded,” said Duterte alluding to wiretapped recordings of the alleged collaborators of the viral video which accused his children, son-in-law and top aide of getting bribes from a Bicol-based drug syndicate.
“Sino ang nag-wiretap? I really do not know. Finished product na ‘yan eh. Then only if you use it in court it cannot be accepted as evidence,” said Duterte.
Duterte also advised reporters to direct all their questions on the Oust Duterte matrix to his legal adviser Salvador Panelo.
“There are matters which I would like to leave to Atty. Panelo to answer…Panelo na lang so that kung i-misquote siya, siya ‘yung madaldal eh. I get tired of answering questions which are stupid,” said Duterte.
“Lalo na ngayong panahon fake pati genuine news, pagtingin ko na
maalanganin ako o i-misquote ako o baligtarin ng media ang salita ko,”
Panelo recently got burned for including sports celebrities Gretchen Ho and Hidilyn Diaz among the alleged collaborators in the Bikoy video.
