President Rodrigo Duterte has rescheduled his dialogue with farmers in North Cotabato.
Duterte was supposed to meet with the local farmers at the Pigcawayan Municipal Hall tomorrow.
“Please be informed that (the) event will be rescheduled. It is not canceled. (His schedule) is always tentative. From what I heard, moved ang (schedule),” said PCOO Undersecretary Mia Reyes.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go said Duterte wanted to listen to the concerns of the farmers.
“On Friday, we will visit North Cotabato and meet the farmers. In one program, they appealed to the President to listen to them. So, the President said, ‘Wait for me and I will go there’. So, there will be a dialogue with the farmers about their problems,” Go said in an interview.
